Gov. Eno distributes free match tickets to fans as Nigeria faces S’Africa in World Cup qualifier
Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State has secured all match tickets to distribute to fans attending Nigeria’s 2026 World Cup qualifier against South Africa.
The state’s commissioner for Youth Development and Sports Monday Uko said this in a statement on Thursday, urging fans to troop out and support the Super Eagles.
“As a dedicated supporter of the Super Eagles, Governor Umo Eno encourages everyone to join in cheering the team to victory, and also emphasises the significance of displaying the renowned hospitality of Akwa Ibom people to our visitors,” stated the commissioner.

“The Governor sends his best wishes for a resounding victory to the Super Eagles and eagerly anticipates an exciting match.”
The Nigerian national team faces off against South Africa later today in a bid to boost their World Cup campaign after drawing their initial two matches. The game kicks off at 8:00 pm (WAT/Nigeria time).
