How 2 men kidnapped, suffocated 6-year-old boy after receiving N152,000 – Police

Two young men arrested by the Adamawa State Police Command have confessed to abducting and murdering a six-year-old boy.
The men narrated to the authorities how they seized the boy using what appeared to be a firearm, received N152,000 from the father, and proceeded to kill the little child.
The culprits, Husseini Suleiman, 21 and Muktar Mohammed, 20, revealed that they had fashioned some logs into a toy weapon with which they intimidated the household into allowing them to take the boy, Ebuka Godwin.

They then requested a ransom from the father and a feeding money of N152,000.
The suspects, who hail from Bashin village in Yoro LGA of Taraba State, carried out the offense in Ganye LGA, a town in Adamawa State.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Suleiman Nguroje, affirmed to reporters that the suspects who were pursuing their Islamic studies at Sheikh Dahiru Ganye School in Ganye, contacted Ebuka’s father after taking Ebuka and demanded N10 million as ransom, along with N152,000 which they claimed they needed to provide food for the abducted boy.
According to Nguroje, the suspects also informed the authorities that after receiving the money for food, they suffocated their victim and buried him in a grave, then left and purchased new cell phones with a portion of the funds they had in their possession.
