Newly wedded wife in Kaduna chops off husband’s manhood

A newly wedded bride, Habiba Ibrahim, has reportedly severed the manhood of her 40-year-old husband, Salisu Idris, while he slept, leading to her arrest by the police.
Idris, a commercial motorcycle rider from Kudan, Kaduna State, recounted the incident on May 26, stating that it occurred after he returned from morning prayers and lay down for a brief rest.
As he rested, his wife attacked him with a knife, nearly severing his manhood, prompting neighbours to intervene upon hearing his cries for help.
“At the moment, I am more concerned about my condition. I am afraid of remarrying because of this incident,” he said.
Despite their recent marriage, Idris expressed shock at the attack, citing their mutual love and lack of prior conflicts.
He was swiftly taken to several hospitals for treatment, with his mother, Rabi Salisu, expressing concern and willingness to support his recovery.
It was gathered that the wife’s parents have expressed concerns over the dastardly act and are willing to settle his medical bills.
