Police arrest 2 over abduction of Rarara’s mother
The police in Katsina State have arrested two suspects linked to the abduction of Hauwa’u Adamu, the 75-year-old mother of popular singer Dauda Kahutu, also known as Rarara.
The incident occurred early on Friday morning in Kahutu village, Danja LGA.
ASP Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu, the police spokesman, stated that the suspects are currently being interrogated. He mentioned that police operatives promptly responded to the kidnapping report and are actively investigating to rescue the victim unhurt.

Rarara, known for his influential role in mobilising support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu through his songs, previously served as chairman of presidential singers during the Muhammadu Buhari administration.
