Tension in Kugbo mechanic village as soldier fatally stabs mechanic
A heart-wrenching incident unfolded at the Kugbo mechanic village situated along the Keffi-Abuja road as a Nigerian soldier tragically stabbed a mechanic known as Yellow Bobo to death, triggering an atmosphere of tension in the area.
Reports revealed that the soldier stabbed the mechanic during an argument, after which the soldier fled the scene.
The incident has sparked a crisis in the area, with an angry mob allegedly setting the soldier’s vehicle on fire.
Mechanics and spare parts sellers have hurriedly shut their shops and launched a manhunt for the fleeing soldier.

This comes a month after soldiers and traders clashed at the popular Banex plaza in the Wuse 2 area of Abuja.
The soldiers had been in the plaza to complain about a phone but it resulted in an argument with the traders and a fight ensued.
After the incident, many shop owners and traders quickly closed for the day to avoid being caught up in a reprisal attack.
Two days later, the military personnel arrived in about five Hilux vehicles and reportedly shut down the plaza.
