Tinubu sacks BPP boss, Mamman Ahmadu
President Bola Tinubu has directed the Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP), Mamman Ahmadu, to resign as part of a larger effort to reorganise the public procurement system and improve efficiency and transparency.

According to a statement released by the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, Ahmadu has been instructed to hand over to the most senior officer in the Bureau until a new Director-General is appointed.
The President has expressed his gratitude to Ahmadu for his service and wishes him success in his future endeavors.
This move is seen as a significant step towards reforming the public procurement system and promoting transparency and accountability in government contracting.
