Niger State receives additional 50 CNG buses

Niger State Government has received another additional 50 CNG buses to its fleet, marking a total of 250 eco-friendly buses in operation.

As previously announced, a portion of these buses 100 in total will conveniently serve the Suleja-Abuja route at discounted prices, while the remaining buses will provide intra-state transportation services, also at discounted prices.

In a significant move to support education, these buses will offer complimentary rides for school children throughout the state capital.

Moreover, civil servants will benefit from affordable travel options, with access to the buses for their commutes to and from the state secretariat, using designated bus stops across the capital.

It’s worth noting that the NNPC is currently constructing CNG/LPG stations in Lambata, Tafa, Bida, and Mokwa, and the state government plans to establish a station in Kontagora, further enhancing the region’s public transportation infrastructure.
