Gov. Zulum’s son not linked to any murder case anywhere –Gov.’s Aide

In response to a viral online reports that linked Governor Zulum’s son, Umar Zulum Umara, to a night club brawl in India that led to his killing of an India man over a woman, Abdurahman Bundi, Senior Special Assistant (SSA), New Media, to Borno State governor, Professor Babagana Zulum, said the report was a figment of the imagination of mischief makers, thus has no iorta of truth.
“It’s a lie. No any of Governor Zulum’s sons committed any crime anywhere. It’s a total lie,” Bundi responded to Neptune Prime’s question on the allegation on Wednesday.
Recall that there have been online reports that Governir Zulum’s son allegedly murdered an Indian man in a nightclub over a woman.
The report said Umar Zulum Umara, the son of Borno State governor, Professor Babagana Zulum, had been arrested in India for allegedly stabbing an Indian national to death in a nightclub with a broken bottle, and that Umar was being detained by the Indian authorities.
The viral reports further alleged that Governor Zulum had gone to India to use his influence and diplomatic connections to settle the issue, but the whole thing was not working out as planned.

One of the reports said the deceased is a Brazilian national and the Brazilian Ambassador to India refused to bow to pressure to settle the matter.
“His father has gone there to use his influence and diplomatic means to settle the case, but no way. He has offered to pay the family of the deceased billions, but no way.
‘’He committed the murder in a nightclub. He used bottle to do his thing. Na woman cause trouble oo.
“He is currently in detention, and the Indian government/family of the deceased is not letting this one sleep.
“Money in billions and diplomatic channels have been rejected,” the report alleged.
