KACRAN commences peace sensitisation campaign for Yobe farmers, herders
The National President of Kulen Allah Cattle Rearers’ Association of Nigeria (KACRAN), Honourable Khalil Muhammad Bello, together with some zonal and state officials of the association embarked on a house to house peace sensitisation exercise for farmers and pastoralists across Yobe State.
The national president and members of his entourage visited the Machina Emir’s Palace to notify the Emir of the peace mission and seek his support towards the success of the exercise within the Emirate.
In his brief remarks at the palace, Honourable Bello said the association is a body purposely registered and formed to eradicate any form of misunderstanding and wanton conflicts between farmers and pastoralists in Nigeria.
According to the president, it is in line with this mission that the association began onerous task/mission of sensitising farmers and pastoralists of Yobe State on the importance of living in peace.

In his response, the Emir of Machina, Alhaji Bashir Al-Bishir Bukar Machina, commend the National President of KACRAN for initiating the ‘House to House Sensitisation of Yobe State Farmers and Pastoralists’ on the importance of peace.
The Emir noted that peace is paramount in every human settlement, hence the need for all hands to be on deck towards propagating it.
While assuring that the emirate will continue to do its best to strengthen peace within its domain, the Emir urged the leadership of Kulen Allah to fully sensitise both farmers and the pastoralists on the need to live in harmony, because nothing would be achieved without peace anywhere in the world.
Meanwhile, the National President of KACRAN presented a later of appointment as State Patron to the Emir of Machina Alhaji Bashir Al-Bishir Bukar Machinama.
Bello equally commended Honourable Mai Mala Buni, CON, the executive governor of Yobe State for encouraging and supporting the exercise under reference and called on federal and nothern governors to emulate Governor Buni’s vision towards promoting peace and unity between pastoralists and farmers in their states.
