Tragedy as Mercedes Benz crushes elderly couple to death
In a tragic turn of events, an elderly couple, Alhaji Musa Baba and his wife, Malama Fatima Baba, were crushed to death in a ghastly accident that occurred in Abaji Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The accident, which happened in the capital city, involved a Mercedes Benz car and a motorcycle.
According to reports, the victims were knocked down by the vehicle while on their way home from their farm on a motorcycle.
The accident occurred around 3:pm on Sunday, July 14, 2024, near the Abaji General Hospital junction.

Sadly, late Alhaji Baba died on the spot while his wife, Fatima passed away at the hospital where she was rushed to for treatment.
Funeral prayers for the couple were held at the Abaji Science Primary School football pitch, led by Malam Ishaq Baba Tsana, Deputy Imam of Abaji Central Mosque.
Furthermore, a community leader, Alhaji Dr. Yahaya Musa Muhammad (ARADA), has commiserated with the family and the entire Bassa Community Abaji over the death of the couple.
Dr. Musa prays to Allah to repose their souls, grant them Jannah and comfort the hearts of their family, friends and the entire Bassa Community, Abaji Area Council who will miss their elderly advice.
“We will continue to pray Allah to forgive them of their shortcomings and grant them an exalted place in Jannah,” he said.
