Tinubu approves bill for 300% salary increase for judicial officers
President Bola Tinubu has given his assent to a bill that triples the salaries of judicial officers across the country.
According to journalists, Tinubu signed the Judicial Office Holders Salaries and Allowances Bill into law on Tuesday to enhance the welfare of judicial officers at both federal and state levels.
The development was announced in a statement released in Abuja by Sen. Basheer Lado, Special Adviser to the President on Senate Matters.
This follows the approval of the bill by the National Assembly in June, which was in response to an executive bill submitted by the President.
