NAF strikes kill several terrorists in Kaduna’s Malum forest

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has reported the elimination of several terrorists following a series of air strikes on Malum Forest in Kaduna State. This operation, conducted on August 24 by the Air Component of Operation Whirl Punch, targeted insurgents responsible for recent attacks and abductions in the region.

Air Vice Marshal Edward Gabkwet, NAF’s spokesman, revealed that the terrorists had relocated from Alawa Forest in Niger State to their stronghold in Malum Forest, following their criminal activities in Shiroro Local Government Area. The air strikes were carried out after intelligence confirmed the terrorists’ presence in the area.

Additionally, the Air Component of Operation Delta Safe conducted patrols over the Niger Delta Region, leading to the destruction of over 25 illegal refining sites and tanks in Imo and Rivers States. These operations are part of the military’s ongoing efforts to combat terrorism and illegal activities across Nigeria.
