Neptune Prime delegation pays condolence visit to Aisha Musa Auyo in Kano

A delegation from Neptune Prime Network has paid a heartfelt condolence visit to their Content Director, Mrs Aisha Musa Auyo, following the loss of her father, Professor Musa Abdu Auyo, who passed away on Tuesday at the age of 63.

The delegation was led by Sakinat Musa Abubakar, Editor at Neptune Prime, with notable team members such as Mohammed Kukuri, Maryam Umar, Shafa’atu Dauda, and Anas Babati.

The team visited Auyo’s family residence at BUK quarters to offer comfort and express their deepest sympathies to the deceased’s family.

The team conveyed sorrow and grief of the management and staff of Neptune Prime over the loss of the respected academic and prayed for the repose of his soul.

Professor Auyo, a distinguished scholar in the Department of Library and Information Sciences at Bayero Kano University (BUK), passed away in the early hours of Tuesday, August 27, 2024.

His burial was conducted later the same day after the Zuhr prayer at the BUK Newsite Jummat Mosque.

Speaking on behalf of the CEO/Publisher of Neptune Prime, Dr. Hassan Gimba, Ms Sakinat expressed the collective grief of the Neptune Prime family, acknowledging the profound impact of Professor Auyo’s demise not only on his immediate family but also on the academic community.

“We stand with Aisha and her family in this difficult time and pray for strength and comfort for them.

“Professor Auyo’s legacy as a dedicated educator, father and mentor will continue to inspire many,” he said.

Mrs. Auyo, who is also a doctorate researcher in educational psychology at BUK, expressed her gratitude for the visit and the support she received from her colleagues.

Late Professor Auyo is survived by two wives, nine children, and nine grandchildren, all of whom are mourning the loss of a beloved father and grandfather.

The entire Neptune Prime team continues to extend their condolences to the Auyo family, offering prayers for the peaceful repose of the deceased’s soul and comfort for those he left behind.
