Bandits storm Abuja community, kill man, abduct wife, children
Suspected bandits on Thursday night stormed Zone A (Back of Primary School) in the Ushafa community of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, killing a man identified as Mr Felix Chuks and leaving with his entire family.
Eyewitnesses reported that efforts to contact the local vigilantes during the attack were unsuccessful, as the heavy gunfire likely deterred any immediate response.
The exact motive behind Mr. Chuks’ killing remains unclear, but sources suggest that he may have resisted the bandits.
This recent attack is not the first in the Ushafa community, which has gained notoriety for similar violent incidents. Just a few months ago, bandits targeted the same area, killing a man and abducting his pregnant wife and children.

Unfortunately, no arrests have been made in connection with the previous incidents.Attempts to reach the FCT police spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, were unsuccessful as her phone line remained engaged.
In response to the escalating violence, an emergency community meeting was convened in Ushafa to discuss the latest attack and seek ways to enhance security.
