Former President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed his heartfelt condolences to Professor Mahmud Jega, the former chairman of the National Electoral Commission (INEC), following the passing of his mother, Hajiya Hauwa Kulu Muhammadu Jega.

She passed away in Abuja after a brief illness.

In a statement released by Mallam Garba Shehu, Buhari conveyed his deep sorrow and empathy, stating, “There is no greater loss than that of a mother.

I would like to express my deepest condolences for the passing of your beloved mother. May her soul rest in peace.”
