Gov Zulum lifts curfew, condoles with families affected by Kawori bomb blast

Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum lifts the curfew imposed following the devastating Kawori bomb blast that claims 16 lives and leaves several others critically injured.

The temporary relaxation of the curfew on Friday allows Muslims to observe the Jumaat prayers.

In a statewide broadcast, Governor Zulum offers condolences to the families affected by the bomb attack and expresses sympathy for those injured and undergoing medical treatment.

He underscores the necessity of the curfew, stating it was crucial to prevent Boko Haram elements from exploiting the situation to further disrupt the state.

Governor Zulum condemns the violence and confirms that the recent protests in the state were disrupted by hoodlums attempting to damage public infrastructure.
