I’ve heard you loud and clear, Tinubu tells #EndBadGovernance protesters

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu responded to the ongoing #EndBadGovernance protests that have erupted nationwide over the past three days. Speaking directly to the citizens of Nigeria, Tinubu acknowledged the significant economic difficulties, including soaring food prices and inflation caused by recent government policies.

“I have heard you loud and clear,” Tinubu said. “We must not let violence and destruction tear our nation apart. Our goal is to build a brighter future where every Nigerian can live with dignity and prosperity.”

He urged protesters to suspend their demonstrations and embrace dialogue. The protests, driven by discontent over the removal of petrol subsidies and forex policy reforms, have highlighted demands for economic relief, better governance, and immediate reforms.

Tinubu’s address comes amid mounting unrest, with protesters calling for action on a range of issues including subsidy restoration, food security, and governmental accountability. The President’s appeal seeks to defuse tensions and foster constructive dialogue in response to the widespread frustration.
