Naval officer arrested for killing Ex-Chief of Naval Staff’s son
A Nigerian Navy personnel, identified as Abdul Rasheed Muhammad, has been arrested in connection with the murder of Aminu, the son of retired Vice Admiral I.I. Ibrahim, a former Chief of Naval Staff.
The Federal Capital Territory Commissioner of Police, Bennett Igweh, confirmed the arrest and the recovery of a vehicle linked to the crime.

Muhammad, who was assigned to the residence of the retired Chief of Naval Staff, admitted to his involvement, revealing that his motive was to steal the car belonging to Aminu. The incident took place two weeks ago in the Maitama area of Abuja.
Additionally, 94 members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria were also detained following the death of two police officers on Sunday.
