Security agents in Anambra rescue kidnapped victim from captivity
The combined effort of the Joint Security Forces (JSF) has led to the rescue of a kidnapped victim in Anambra State.
According to reports, the security operatives, which included the police, military, vigilante groups amongst others were able to rescue the victim from the captivity of the criminals.
Confirming the operation, the Police PPRO, Tochukwu Ikenga said, “In an ongoing operation in Ihaila, a combined team of Police, Military and AVG operatives busted a criminal den at Umuduru, Ihiala and rescued a kidnap victim unhurt.

“The rescue follows the arrest of a suspect (name withheld) few weeks ago as his confession of being a member of a criminal/notorious kidnap gang terrorising the state, especially in Ihiala.

The rescued victim has been debriefed and released to the family, while operations are still ongoing.”
He said further development would be communicated to the public later.
