Terrorists kill Katsina Governor’s aide at his residence
The Katsina State government has confirmed the killing of Sanusi Gyaza, an aide to Governor Dikko Radda, at his residence. The tragic incident occurred late on Friday in the Gyaza community of Kankia Local Government Area, resulting in the deaths of Gyaza and his wife, and the abduction of his other wife.
Gyaza, a former Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) in Kankia, was targeted by the assailants who stormed his home. The attack has heightened concerns about the escalating insecurity in the state, where kidnappings and killings have become increasingly common.
