Tinubu condemns murder of Sokoto monarch by bandits, vows decisive action
President Bola Tinubu has condemned the killing of the District Head of Gatawa District in Sokoto State, Alhaji Isa Muhammad Bawa, by bandits.
The president described the act as “deeply disturbing” and vowed to take decisive action.
In a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, Tinubu expressed sorrow over the incidents that led to the death of the traditional ruler.
He extended condolences to the bereaved family, the Gobir Emirate, and the government of Sokoto State.
The president assured Nigerians that his administration is working hard to tackle insecurity and counter acts of terror.

He said, “The President describes the savage attack on the traditional ruler as deeply disturbing and a heinous act that will not go without a decisive response.”
