2 confirmed dead, others injured in Kano as storey building collapses
Two persons have been confirmed dead and two others were rescued after a two-storey building collapsed at Nomansland in Fagge Local Government Area of Kano State.
The building was said to have collapsed around 2am on Thursday following a heavy downpour.
It was gathered that the building collapsed due to overflow of the waterway which affected the location close to the building.
The Public Relations Officer (PRO) Kano State Fire Service, Saminu Yusuf Abudullahi, said two persons had been rescued alive so far and taken to the hospital, while two were dead as the rescue operation continued.

Hours back, the Kano State Emergency Management Agency disclosed that 31 persons were killed and 5,280 houses destroyed by flooding in the state.
