DCG Bomai’s key visits to NIPSS, Defence College, Finance Ministry, Army Resource Center (Pictures & Video)
Arrival at NIPSS, Kuru, Jos: Deputy Comptroller General of Customs (DCG), SA Bomai (Commander Training and Doctrine Command), embarked on a significant visit to the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) in Kuru, Jos. The visit aimed to strengthen the partnership between the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) and NIPSS. DCG Bomai was warmly received by the Director-General of NIPSS, Professor Ayo Omotayo, and his management team.
Visit to the Defence College: DCG Bomai also visited the Armed Forces Command and Staff College (AFCSC) in Jaji, Kaduna, where he engaged with key military personnel and explored the college’s strategic training resources. The Commandant of the Defence College, Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Olusegun Alabi, guided the tour.
Meeting with the Finance Minister: DCG Bomai met with the Finance Minister, Dr. Wale Babalola, to discuss financial strategies for enhancing customs operations. This meeting underscored the importance of financial support in achieving efficient customs management.
Exploring the Army Resource Center: The visit concluded with a tour of the Army Resource Center at the Nigerian Army Headquarters in Abuja. DCG Bomai reviewed the center’s technological resources and their applications in supporting customs operations. The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja, facilitated the visit.
