DSS arrests NLC President, Joe Ajaero
Operatives of the Department of the State Services (DSS) have arrested the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Joe Ajaero.
Neptune Prime gathered that Mr Ajaero was arrested on Monday morning at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on his way to the United Kingdom for an official assignment.
The NLC president was billed to attend the Trade Union Congress conference in London, which will commence on Monday before he was arrested by the security operatives.
The arrest is coming weeks after the Nigeria Police Force summoned Mr Ajaero for questioning over allegations of terrorism financing, cybercrime, and other related offences.

Earlier, the NLC accused the government of waging a war against the organisation, following a recent raid on its headquarters by security forces.
Security operatives said the NLC headquarters was raided to apprehend an international terrorist suspect, a justification the NLC dismissed as a cover-up, citing inconsistencies in the police’s account.
