Gov. Aiyedatiwa appoints 28 SSAs, 316 SAs

Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has bolstered his administration by appointing 28 Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and 316 Special Assistants (SAs), covering all 18 Local Government Areas (LGAs), 33 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs), and 203 Wards of the state.
In a statement released on Saturday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Ebenezer Adeniyan, the new appointments are aimed at improving governance and enhancing service delivery to the people.
Mr Adeniyan confirmed that the appointments followed the Governor’s desire to bring governance closer to the people by ensuring grassroots representation across all zones of the state.
Governor Aiyedatiwa, in his congratulatory message, urged the appointees to demonstrate a high level of dedication and professionalism in their roles.

“I expect that your wealth of experience will be pivotal in pushing forward our agenda of good governance and development for all residents of Ondo State,” the Governor noted.
This significant move comes just months ahead of the 2024 Ondo governorship election, where Governor Aiyedatiwa seeks re-election following his initial term, which began after the unfortunate demise of his predecessor, Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, in December 2023.
