Late President Umaru Musa Yar’adua’s mother dies at 102
The mother of late Nigerian President Umaru Musa Yar’adua and former vice president, Shehu Yar’adua, Hajiya Dada Yar’adua, has died at the age of 102.
According to reports, Hajiya Dada Yar’adua died on Monday evening at Katsina Teaching Hospital after a brief illness.
She was a highly esteemed figure, renowned for her strong character and profound influence on her sons’ lives and political careers.
Late Umaru Musa Yar’adua served as Nigeria’s President from 2007 until his untimely death in 2010, while Shehu Yar’adua was a former Vice President and a prominent political leader.
