Man lures 8-year-old girl, inserts scissors, spoon in her private part
A 32-year-old man has been arrested for inserting a pair of scissors into the genitals of an eight-year-old girl in Dutse LGA of Jigawa State.
The state’s police spokesman, DSP Lawan Shi’isu Adam, said that the victim was lured into a restroom at a table water company where the suspect, Bashir Umar, inserted a pair of scissors and a spoon into her private parts, causing severe injuries and rendering her unconscious.
He said that the man repeatedly abused the child, threatening to kill her and her parents if she spoke out.
He added that the suspect had been arrested and detained at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID).
