Mubarak Abubakar, Mahmud Ibrahim, and Isaac Jonsh were also implicated in a similar crime, breaking into a filling station by accessing the ceiling and stealing copper wires with the intention of selling them to scavengers.

Confirming the arrests, the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Nguroje, stated that the suspects were apprehended by police operatives. He added that the Commissioner of Police, Morris Dankombo, has ordered their prosecution in court.

The arrests follow continued efforts by the Adamawa State Police Command to combat vandalism and theft in the region.
