Yobe photographer, Saidu, snaps 897 pictures in 60 minutes to break Guinness World Record (Pictures & Videos)
A Yobe-based photographer, Saidu Abdulrahman, has made history by capturing an astonishing 897 pictures within just 60 minutes, surpassing the previous Guinness World Record of 500.
The record-breaking attempt took place on September 25, 2024, in Potiskum Local Government Area, Yobe State, in the presence of government officials, students, and well-wishers.
Abdulrahman, 28, revealed that the feat was achieved after a year of preparation. “We initially aimed for 600 pictures, but I’m glad to have exceeded expectations despite several challenges,” he said. He now awaits formal recognition from the Guinness World Records.

This achievement further elevates Yobe’s profile on the global stage, as Abdulrahman aims to bring pride to his state through his dedication to the art of photography.
