Iran Warns Israel’s Allies: Stay out or become legitimate targets
On Thursday, October 3, 2024, Iran issued a stern warning to nations supporting Israel in its conflict with the Islamic Republic.
Iran’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations declared that any country assisting Israel would be considered an accomplice and, therefore, a legitimate target.
This statement followed Israel’s assassination of several prominent figures, including Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh, Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and IRGC General Abbas Nilforushan.
In response, Iran launched 200 ballistic missiles aimed at Israeli military and intelligence bases across the occupied Palestinian territories. Iran described this action as a necessary retaliation against Israel’s aggression.

The Permanent Mission further advised other nations to avoid getting involved in the conflict, warning them to steer clear of the confrontation between Israel and Iran to avoid being caught in the crossfire.
President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized that Iran’s response could intensify if Israel retaliates against the missile strikes.
Iran maintains communication with the U.S. through the Swiss Embassy, which acts as the U.S. Interests Section in Tehran.
