Yemeni Armed Forces target Israeli-linked ship in Arabian sea

The Yemeni Armed Forces reported the successful targeting of the ship MEGALOPOLIS in the Arabian Sea using multiple drones.

The operation was confirmed on Friday evening by Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces.

General Saree highlighted that the attack on the MEGALOPOLIS was a response to its owning company’s violation of the ban on entering Israeli-operated ports in occupied Palestine.

This ban was enacted as a gesture of solidarity with the Palestinian and Lebanese people, as reported by Al Mayadeen.

Saree expressed support for the fighters in Gaza and Lebanon, emphasising that the loss of prominent Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar would only strengthen the resolve of the Resistance and all those advocating for liberation and victory.

He reiterated the Yemeni Armed Forces’ commitment to continuing their operations against Israeli forces with missiles and drones until the aggression ceases, the siege on Gaza is lifted, and the hostilities in Lebanon come to an end.

Since the onset of the Israeli offensive on Gaza on October 7, which followed a surprising retaliatory attack by Palestinian Resistance groups named Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, Yemen has actively voiced its support for Palestine’s fight against what they describe as Israeli occupation.

The Yemeni Armed Forces declared they would persist in their attacks until the ongoing Israeli ground and aerial assaults in Gaza—which have resulted in the deaths of at least 27,948 people and injuries to around 67,459—come to a halt.

Meanwhile, in December, the United States and Britain announced a military coalition aimed at supporting Israel by targeting Yemen.
