Kanempress Publisher, Editor-in-Chief loses mother; Neptune Prime CEO mourns

Hajiya Aisha Mustapha, mother of Zannah Ibrahim Mustapha, Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Kanempress Digital Hub, passed away on Sunday at the age of 86 in Kaduna State, following a brief stay in the city after relocating from Maiduguri.
According to sources close to the family, Hajiya Aisha is survived by seven children, including Alhaji Sani, a businessman and politician who is a contemporary of Senator Shehu Sani; Hajiya Fatima; Nana Hajara; Hajiya Hadiza, Executive Director of EPADEC; Dr. Grema, Senior Planning Officer at LEA Bama; Alhaji Umar; and Zannah Ibrahim Mustapha, who is also the Principal News Editor at Voice of Nigeria Broadcasting House in Ikoyi, Lagos.
Sources also revealed that Hajiya Aisha was a pillar of strength and a source of wisdom, not only to her children but also to many in her community.
Tributes have poured in from friends, family members, and well-wishers, who described Hajiya Aisha as a mother figure to many. “She was known for her guidance, warm embrace, and ability to bring people together,” said a family friend.
Meanwhile, the founder and publisher of Neptune Prime, Dr. Hassan Gimba, mourned the loss, stating that “the passing of Hajiya Aisha Mustapha touches the heart of our entire community. She was a shining example of motherhood, compassion, and selflessness. Her legacy will continue to inspire generations to come.”
A three-day prayer session will be held in her honor, commencing on Tuesday at Abuja Road, Sardauna Crescent BZ No. 40, Kaduna State.
May Allah forgive her and admit her into Aljannatul Firdaus, Ameen.
