Why Husbands Cheat: A side chick’s surprising perspective

In an interview with a Neptune Prime reporter Abubakar Kado, a self-proclaimed Side chick who wishes her identity to remain undisclosed, reveals the convenience and appeal of dating married men, highlighting the cracks in modern marriages. I have gathered some insights from the interview on how wives can revitalize their marriages.

Let’s begin with the key parts of the conversation.

Neptune Prime: How do you feel in society being a side chick?

Side chick: At this point in my life, it’s convenient for me to date married men. I’m very confident, and I don’t think I’m destroying anybody’s home because your husband is my supportive boyfriend.

You’ll see married men who have gone three or six months without having sex at home, but they want to have sex with you every day. They come to their girlfriend’s house, and as soon as they walk in, they just want to get it on, but at home, there’s nothing happening. So, how is it my fault that you’re not having fun at home, but you can have fun with me a million times if you want? You’ll always come back to my house.

Life is about preferences. I like to date married men. You don’t have to. Let me do what works for me. The primary thing that keeps them coming back is the sex, nothing else.

Neptune Prime: Do you think side chicks help marriages last?

Side chick: Men go through a lot, and they usually don’t find peace at home. After too much pressure, they look for ways to relieve themselves. That’s just how men are. After a stressful day, he comes to me for comfort, and I’m there for him.

I’m going to talk about sex a little bit.

Neptune Prime: Tell me more.

Side chick: When he arrives, I open the door for him, hug him, and give him a kiss. Depending on how he made me feel before he came over, I ask him how he’s doing, how work was. While we’re talking, I’m taking off his shoes, helping him sit down, removing his socks, and giving him a little foot massage while chatting about his day. I’m paying attention to him, letting him vent about whatever happened at the office.

During all this, I may have moved from his legs to sitting on him. Most wives don’t do this at home because they don’t have the time. I have all the time in the world. That’s how he sees me every time he comes over. He’s used to this pampering, which he probably doesn’t get at home. So, I’m sitting on his lap, he’s grabbing my butt, or my breasts are in his face, he likes what he’s seeing. I smell good, I give him my undivided attention for 30 or 45 minutes. He’s my priority. Even if I leave, it’s just to get him a drink or some food.

At some point, it becomes an intense relationship in a very short period 30 minutes, maybe but during that time, I’m not leaving him alone. We’re both getting what we want: attention, sex, romance. That’s all a married man wants from a woman outside his marriage.

Neptune Prime: How does that help his marriage at home?

Side chick: When he leaves me after spending 45 minutes together, he’s calm and relaxed. Whatever arguments are happening at home, he can handle them calmly. He can deal with the heat much better than if he just drove straight from the office through traffic. He’ll be angry, agitated, and might want to just go upstairs and avoid his wife. But when he spends time with me, whatever Madame is saying at home is fine.

Neptune Prime: Thank you so much for your time, Ma. Have a nice day ahead.

Side chick: Thank you.

In the interview, the side chick highlights several reasons why married men turn to women outside their marriages. One of the key reasons is Sexual dissatisfaction at home. Many men feel neglected when their wives no longer prioritize intimacy due to busy schedules, exhaustion, or emotional disconnection. The absence of physical affection drives them towards women who make them feel desired and fulfilled.

Another major factor is Emotional neglect. The side chick emphasizes that she provides a welcoming, attentive environment where the man can unwind and be himself again. Many married men feel unsupported and misunderstood at home, where their concerns are not fully addressed. As the interviewee mentioned, simple gestures like undivided attention, care, and physical affection make them feel wanted, which is often missing in their marriages.

Lastly, the lack of intimacy and pampering is another critical issue. The side chick contrasts herself with the wife, claiming she dedicates time and effort to create an environment where the man feels special and appreciated. This personalized attention, which might be missing in a busy household, keeps the man coming back for more.

Transform Your Marriage: Guidance for Wives from a Relationship Analyst

– Prioritize Intimacy and Physical Connection: One recurring theme in the interview is how much the side chick provides sexual satisfaction and physical connection. While it’s natural for intimacy to decline after marriage due to responsibilities like raising children or work stress, this should not be overlooked. Wives should make a conscious effort to keep the spark alive by having open discussions about intimacy, understanding their partner’s needs, and being proactive in maintaining that physical bond. Even small gestures like spontaneous hugs, kisses, and flirtation can reignite the connection.

– Dedicate Time and Attention: As the side chick mentioned, she makes the man feel like a priority whenever he visits. Many wives juggle multiple roles, mother, employee, housekeeper, leaving little time for their husbands. It’s important for wives to create moments of undivided attention for their husbands, even if it’s just 30 minutes a day. Quality time, where the husband feels heard and appreciated, can strengthen emotional bonds and reduce the need to seek that connection elsewhere.

– Reevaluate Financial and Emotional Contributions: Men, like women, want to feel valued and cared for emotionally and financially. Many husbands carry the financial burden of running the home. While it is traditional in some households for men to provide, wives can contribute by easing their husbands’ stress, be it financially or through thoughtful gestures. Small, caring acts like offering a homemade drink or a relaxing moment after work can go a long way.

– Keep the Fun Alive: Over time, relationships can become monotonous. This is where creativity plays a key role. The side chick spoke about making her time with the man fun and exciting. Wives can inject fun and excitement into their marriages by planning date nights, surprising their husbands, or trying new activities together. Keeping the relationship dynamic, fun, and romantic ensures that the husband has little desire to seek excitement outside the marriage.

The interview sheds light on some real issues in marriages that often push men to seek validation and intimacy elsewhere. While this does not justify cheating, it highlights areas where wives can improve to build stronger, more fulfilling marriages. Prioritizing intimacy, emotional connection, communication, and mutual support can help keep a marriage thriving and reduce the allure of side relationships.
