₦100bn Tax: Kaduna seals BOA, Chicken Republic, others
The Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) has sealed off the premises of Unity Bank, Chicken Republic, Bank of Agriculture (BOA), and First City Monument Bank (FCMB) along Yakubu Gowon Way over ₦100 billion in unpaid taxes.
The Hamdala Hotel was also sealed. Barrister Aisha Ahmad, Board Secretary and Executive Director of Legal Services, led the enforcement team, stating that the action followed the exhaustion of all legal avenues for settling the Land Use Tax liabilities.
