Chelsea eye Real Madrid star Vinicius
Chelsea Football Club is reportedly in pursuit of Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior, who has emerged as a key target following his impressive performance last season. The 24-year-old Brazilian forward netted 24 goals and provided 11 assists, significantly contributing to Real Madrid’s La Liga and UEFA Champions League victories.
Despite his successful run, Vinicius has rejected the latest contract renewal offer from Real Madrid. The club, however, is eager to negotiate a new deal, as his current contract extends until 2027.
According to reports from Fichajes, Chelsea will face stiff competition from Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United in their efforts to secure the talented forward’s services.
This transfer speculation comes as Chelsea continues to assess their squad, with head coach Maresca recently warning that no player’s position is guaranteed following the dropping of key player Fernandez.
