IGBO Community Association Abuja elects new President General
The IGBO Community Association Abuja has elected Engineer Ikenna Ellis Ezenekwe as its new President General, ushering in a new era of leadership.
The much-anticipated election took place on November 16, 2024, at the association’s meeting venue in Abuja.

Engineer Ezenekwe has made a commitment to lead with integrity and to foster strong collaboration with the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), under the guidance of Hon. Nyeson Wike.
His dedication to unity and progress resonates with the outgoing President General, Hon. Leonard Ezenwa Ebo, who expressed confidence in the new administration’s ability to bring together Igbo communities within the FCT.
Former ICA treasurer Mr. Chinkata Paschal urged the new leadership to prioritise community unity, development, and core values during Engineer Ezenekwe’s term as President General.
Engr. Ezenekwe is dedicated to tirelessly supporting the Igbo communities in Abuja while contributing to the overall growth of the city.
