NAFDAC seizes millions worth of counterfeit wines in Nasarawa
The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration Control (NAFDAC) has confirmed the closure of several shops in Nasarawa State due to the sale of adulterated and counterfeit wines and spirits.
The operation targeted multiple establishments in Mararaba Market, as well as the New Nyanya and Masaka regions.

The concerted efforts of NAFDAC operatives resulted in the seizure of goods valued at over N41.2 million.
In a statement released on Monday, the agency emphasised the importance of customer vigilance and reassured the public that NAFDAC is actively working to apprehend the manufacturers responsible for the production of such goods.
