Nigerian govs meet in Abuja to discuss stamp duty, others
Members of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) have gathered for a physical meeting at their secretariat in Abuja.
The meeting which was slated for 8 O’clock did not commence in earnest, as only a few governors have arrived at the venue.

Present at the venue are notable governors, including Sheriff Oborevwori (Delta), Dapo Abiodun (Ogun), Lucky Aiyedatiwa (Ondo), Dauda Lawal (Zamfara), and AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (Kwara).
Others include Francis Nwifuru (Ebonyi), Inuwa Yahaya (Gombe), Ademola Adeleke (Osun), Nasir Idris (Kebbi), and Usman Ododo of (Kogi).
A distributed agenda reveals that the governors will address several key topics, including the high-stakes issue of stamp duties, royalties accounts reconciliation, and updates on the Africa Investment Forum (AIF).
Additionally, the forum anticipates a presentation from Benjamin Kalu, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, regarding ongoing constitutional amendments being pursued by the national assembly.
