Yobe youth, Abdulrahman Saidu, breaks World Records for most headshots in one hour
The Guinness World Records has confirmed Yobe-based photographer, Saidu Abdulrahman, as the new record holder for the most headshot photographs taken in one hour.
This was announced via email sent to Abdulrahman by the records management.
The email read, “Dear Abdulrahman Saidu, we are thrilled to inform you that your application for most headshot photographs taken in one hour has been successful and you are now the Guinness World Records Title Holder!”
The email conveyed the company’s congratulations and procedures for Abdulrahman to collect his certificate and badge.
In September 2024, Abdulrahman, a 28-year-old Yobe-based photographer, made history by capturing an astonishing 897 pictures within 60 minutes, surpassing the previous Guinness World Record of 500.
The event took place in Potiskum Local Government Area, Yobe State, in the presence of government officials, students, and well-wishers.
Abdulrahman revealed that the feat was achieved after a year of preparation, “We initially aimed for 600 pictures, but I’m glad to have exceeded expectations despite several challenges,” he said.
