Jigawa gov’t to partner with Turkey on agro-allied business

The Republic of Turkey has expressed its commitment to assist the government of Jigawa State in developing its agro-allied businesses.
The Turkish Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr Hidayet Bayraktar gave the assurance while on an agric excursion to Malam Ali Agro-Allied farm owned by Honourable Faruk Aliyu Adamu at Birnin Kudu recently.

Mr Bayraktar praised the Jigawa State government’s efforts to improve the state’s agricultural activities.
The ambassador, at the Malam Alu Agro Allied farm, expressed his surprise at the massive investment in the Agro-Allied firm he saw on the farm.
He claimed he was in Jigawa State to assess the state’s financial prospects in the hopes of forming a partnership.
Mr Hidayet, who added that agricultural and agro-allied enterprises are important to the Republic of Turkey, also committed to work hand in hand with the Jigawa State government towards boosting the agricultural sector in Jigawa and the country at large.
The investment, according to Faruk Adamu Aliyu, is his little contribution to the development of agriculture in Nigeria.
He also praised the Jigawa State government’s efforts to boost the state’s agriculture and agro-allied sectors.
