Bauchi State Governor Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has approved the appointments of Yusuf Ibrahim Gane as the Auditor General for local governments in Bauchi State. Until this appointment, Gane was the most senior director in the same agency.
A statement signed by Secretary to the Bauchi State government Mohammed Sabiu Baba included the appointment of Dr. Sani Mohammed Dambam as the Executive Chairman, Bauchi State Agency for the Control of HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis/Leprosy and Malaria (BACATMA).
According to the statement, Dr. Dambam was the Head of Department, Community Medicine at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital Bauchi before his present appointment.
Senator Bala Mohammed also approved the appointment of Murjanatu Musa Maidawa as the Chief Press Secretary to the Bauchi State First Lady, Dr. Aisha Bala Mohammed. Maidawa was a senior reporter with the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), the globe FM, Bauchi, the statement added. The appointments take immediate effect.
