Bandits kill 23, abduct others in Kaduna

Bandits on Tuesday night stormed Giwa local government area of Kaduna State killing 23 people and others sustaining injury.

The bandits had attacked nine villages in Giwa Local Government, killing 50 while several others were abducted.

The recent attack is the fourth in Giwa local government area in the month of March 2022.

Resident of the community said that bandits came in large numbers, shooting sporadically.

Many people who ran for safety suffered injuries from the gunshots.

Kaduna Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Mohammed Jalige is yet to release statement regarding the incident.
