A 54-year-old woman, Blessing Mormah, has filed for divorce at the Igando Customary Court, Lagos, claiming that her husband’s manhood is not functioning.
According to Blessing, a beautician, she has been married for 25 years, she was forced into the marriage by her father, and after their wedding, she gave birth to two boys and three girls for the defendant, she also claimed that she was not willing to continue the union anymore.

She further stated that she and her husband do quarrel every time and that, she packed her loads away from her matrimonial home since last year because, she became fed up and that, his manhood was not also working.
“When I found out about his predicament, I took him to the hospital and drugs were prescribed for him but he refused to use them.
“Ok, if nothing is wrong, then perform your duty but he cannot,” says Blessing.
She also said that her husband doesn’t respect her family members because, whenever they have issues and they tell him to come, he won’t, as he will tell her family members to also come to his own house.
She also claimed that they have been living apart for the past one year and that, the court should grant her the sole custody of their last child, who is just six years of age.
While delivering his judgement, the president of the court, Mr Koledoye Adeniyi, adjourned the matter to May 12, 2022 because, her husband was not around during the hearing.
