Ex-Gov. Dankwambo emerges as Gombe North PDP senatorial candidate

The immediate past governor of Gombe State, Ibrahim Dankwambo, on Monday emerged unopposed as the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) senatorial candidate for Gombe North in the 2023 elections.

He became the party’s flag bearer following the step down of the other aspirants – Bayero Nafada, a former deputy speaker of the Federal House of Representatives and Hamma Saleh for him.
The returning officer for the election in the senatorial zone, Habu Zarma, made this known during the exercise.
