2023: House of Reps aspirant slumps after losing party’s primaries ticket (video)

Dr. Philip Okwuada, a House of Representatives aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), reportedly slumped on Sunday, May 22, after he failed to clinch his party’s primaries ticket ahead of the 2023 general elections.

Okwuada, from Ika Federal constituency, North-West of Delta State, was said to have slumped during the announcement of the result in which his opponent, Honourable Victor Nwokolo, won the party’s ticket.

The incident was captured on video by FLAG News.

It was gathered that Okwuada had on Wednesday, March 2, resigned his appointment as Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Livestock Development to the Governor of Delta State, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, in order to pursue his political desire.
