Police confirm fresh attack in Owo
The Ondo State Police Command has confirmed an attack at a construction company’s site in Owo, Ondo State.
Gunshots were said to have occurred at the site of Craneburg Construction Company, Owo on Wednesday evening, leaving an unspecified number of people with varying degrees of injuries.
The police wrote on its official Twitter handle @OndoPoliceNG:
“Tonight, there was a shooting incident at Craneburg Construction Company, Owo.
“Policemen are currently at the scene, victims have been taken to Hospital and they are in stable condition.”
It was reported that explosive devices were also used by the assailants who arrived at the scene of the incident at about 9 pm while it was raining and most of the workers were indoors.
No less than 41 persons lost their lives in the attack.
