Geregu Power Plc set to become first power firm to list on Nigerian exchange

All is now set for Geregu Power Plc to be admitted as the first power company into the Mainboard of the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) formerly Nigerian Stock Exchange, on Wednesday, 5 October 2022.

The admission, according to reports, is by way of Listing By Introduction (LBI) with the admittance of 2,500,000,000 ordinary shares of 50 kobo each at N100 per share on the Exchange.

The company appointed the accounting firm of Price Waterhouse Coopers (PwC) in June 2022 as auditors of the firm; and also brought on board Mr Paul Miyonde Gbededo, former Group Managing Director/CE of FMN to its board.

To mark the significance of the listing, a closing gong ceremony is being planned for the last week of October 2022.
