France international and Real Madrid forward, Karim Benzema, has emerge winner of the 2022 Ballon d’Or.
Benzema ranked number one and followed by Senegalese, Sadio Mané, Belgian Kevin De Bruyne and Polish forward, Robert Lewandowski who ranked fourth.

Earlier, Brazil football legend and two-time Ballon d’Or winner, Ronaldo Luis Nazario de Lima, picked Benzema, to go home with this year’s award.
Ronaldo, who won the award in 1997 and 2002 spoke on the red carpet ahead of the 2022 Ballon d’Or which is holding on Paris, French capital.
The former Brazil international said, “I’m pretty sure Karim will win. He played amazing the last season. I say he deserves this prize.”
Karim Benzema’s 2021/22 achievements include: 50 goals in 56 games and 16 assists, 2021/22 LaLiga winner, Supercopa winner, Nations League winner, Champions League winner, UEFA Men’s Player of the Year, UCL Player of the Season, UCL Golden Boot winner, Pichichi Trophy winner, and 2022 Ballon d’Or winner.
