Man Utd, Liverpool record wins as Brentford frustrate Chelsea to a goalless draw

Manchester United Wednesday night secured an all important three points after beating Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford to remain fifth on the English Premier League table with 19 points.

Liverpool on the other hand repeated the same result they had against Manchester City on Sunday to claim three points over West Ham United courtesy Darwin Nunez in the 29th.

United’s first goal was scored by Brazilian midfielder, Fred in the minute 47th while Bruno Fernandes sealed the Red Devils victory over Spurs in the 69th making it the second defeat for Antonio Conte’s boys in the season.

Elsewhere, Chelsea were frustrated to a goalless draw with Brentford.

Newcastle defeat Everton 1-0 at St. James Park.

Cristiano Ronaldo was seen walking down the tunnel few minutes before the final whistle.

The player was perhaps disappointed after he was told to warm up twice but ended up not given the opportunity to play.
