Popular Kannywood actress, Hafsat Tuge, faces sack for lying about her marital status

Popular Kannywood actress, Hafsat Tuge, has been sacked from the industry after lying that she was unmarried.
Hafsat is featuring in the newly created TikTok Programme, Amaryan Ango, a show being run by a senior Kannywood producer and actor, Ahmed Bifa as a lead actress under the name Amaryan TikTok (TikTok Bride).
Amaryan Ango which is a newly designed programme is already successful among couples and other entertainers.
It was learnt that Hafsat Tuge approached the producer for a role and after a series of enquires during which she claimed to be unmarried, he engaged her on a very fat pay after which the programme started running as arranged.
But all of a sudden one Alhaji Sani Gwarzo appeared in Bifa’s office announcing that Hafsat Tuge is his wife and that they had a misunderstanding in which she ran away only for him to see her on the screen acting in Amaryan TikTok.
“I was shocked when I saw her and quickly ran to Kano to fetch her. But her producer told me she claimed that she is not married and we gave a condition which she agreed. But I promise to take the matter to Hisbah or Kano Police”, he said.
At the time of filing this report, an arrangement has reached an advanced stage to sack her from the industry, with a strong directive that no married woman should behave like that in future and if discovered, she will be prosecuted.
